Golden staggers over to the hole. "I've got a plan." Golden briefly sets herself on fire and then takes a step back leaving the fire in place. After filling in a few details the fire copy flies down the hole trying to distract and harass the hunter lizard to prevent it from reaching the rest of the group.

Gear slowly climbs up the pile of rubble that would otherwise be very dangerous. At the same time Golden's fire clone flies down the hole. Noticing this, Floe dodges out of the way. The fire clone then flies around Hunter, staying just out of reach of his swipes at it, as it darts at and away from him.

The lizardponies finally reach the collapsed building Gear is climbing and not wanting to climb it, instead try and surround it so that Gear will have nowhere to go. Hunter continues to bat at the fire clone until he determines he's not going to be able to reach it in this situation and starts moving towards Floe again, though he's still slowed down at he strikes out at the fire clone on occasions where he thinks he might actually hit it.

Golden commands the fire copy to grab onto the giant lizard's back in order to force it to focus on dislodging the copy.

Hunter flails around for a few moments trying to dislodge the flame clone from his back and then lets go of the ceiling with left limbs and swings around quickly, slamming the flame clone into the ceiling. Having no physical substance the flame clone splashes in a wave of flame and breaks apart into flames floating in the air.

As some of the lizard ponies begin to test the safety of the collapsed building, suddenly Gear Craft finds himself sucked into his own shadow. The next thing he knows he's look at Golden and Col... before he starts falling down the hole, his intangible limbs not long enough to reach any of the sides. Floe can see him falling down her way, though he still has several feet to fall before he reaches her.

"Whoops," mutters Floe to herself. She quickly summons a shadowy claw to catch Gear Craft as he falls through the narrow hole...

Col sees Gear for only a split second, but knew what he saw, and was shocked all the same. He drops the door and rushes to the hole and calls out "GEAR, NO!"

"DON'T WORRY, I'VE GOT HIM!" Floe's call echoes out just before Col was ready to dive through the hole after the falling giraffe. He tries to detect any confirmation that Floe was correct...

((The shadow claw does indeed catch Gear even though he's intangible, but Sub I'd like some pre-catch RP here anyway since IC you didn't know you were going to get teleported.

Edit: Also post-catch RP. I don't know why I felt like I had to point that out, but I did.))

Gear Craft yells, and as he sees Golden and Col, he waves feebly, then flails wildly, as he falls. "OHBUCKWHY AM I FALL-" And then Floe catches him. Gear Craft grabs the shadowmanced hand for a bit, then deactivates his suit and hops onto safe ground, at which point, he takes a deep breath. "I, uh, I'm gonna ask this once. What the BUCK just happened?"

Col breathes a deep sigh of relief as he hears Gear no longer falling to his doom. "Gear, thank goodness you're alright." His relieved tone transforms into an angry one. What were you playing at when you decided going against Hunter by yourself was a good idea?"

Gear Craft shrinks backwards, then says indignantly, "Ok, first off, 'going against' isn't very accurate, I turned intangible at let him take a couple swipes, it worked earlier. Second off, we're all up here, aren't we? Speaking of, how is Golden?"

As if in response to Golden's words the group can hear, presumably, Hunter growl. It doesn't seem like he's all that far away, though Floe doesn't see him when she looks down.

Gear does not spot any rubble in this small section of tunnel. The closest he can remember seeing some was back at the collapsed section of tunnel with the small area behind it.

"Yeah, let's get going," agrees Floe, moving towards the entrance they took to get down here...

"Wait," calls out Col as he follows. "Shouldn't we make sure Hunter doesn't follow us?"

Floe doesn't stop. "Sorry, gotta make sure that selkie made it to my friend. I've never done that before to anyone else."

"Wait, what?"

"Oh relax, she'll be fine. Everything's under control. We got this."

Col stops following and turns to look at the rest of the party, seeing how they act...

"I really hate pulling this trick off. We had better run..." Golden begins wordless murmuring under her breath as the chant begins to pick up speed she starts to shake her head around casting off countless little points of light from her horns. Most of the lights settle on the ground mostly around the hole seemingly filling it in the rest scatter throughout the area and the air soaking up scents and sounds.

After Gear shouts for the group to run and remains standing still as does everyone aside from Floe who has flown a few feet, Golden emits some glowing motes of light and.... as far as anyone aside from her and Col can tell nothing happens. Col is momentarily blinded as his sonar pings vanish. When they return he senses some movement from somewhere above them.

Col and Floe cheeses it as well, Col remembering to grab Gear's door as well...

As the group runs through the door and turn left they hear something behind them from the section of the tunnel with the jewels (that you guys inexplicably didn't take because apparently you hate free money or something). As they continue running, a few moments later, Col senses Hunter coming up behind them. He turns to look and sees some flames suddenly fly up behind Hunter and form into Golden's shape and latch onto Hunter's back. To which Hunter spins around surprised and the group advances far enough ahead that he's out of sight of them still by the time they reach the passageway to the stairs.
