If you had 1 more pip the answer would be obvious. Alas... So I guess... maybe Noxious Mixture Balrog (and hope for a crit) and use Hard Rock to heal Gleeda?

Edit: Sub why did you ask for advice if you weren't going to wait for it? Also Minor actions are not Reactions or Interrupts so targeting Gleeda with that would be pretty worthless at this point.

Hmm... can I edit Hard Rock in? Also, I think Martyr's Blessing works on BC.

It doesn't matter if it does, it's a waste of pips. Any damage she takes while KOd is meaningless the moment she gets healed. Meanwhile others of us can actually take damage that matters.

Edit: And let's face it, with no defensive abilities, Gleeda is basically just going to be a damage soak from this point on. It's unlikely she'll ever get up to full HP so she's just going to keep bouncing back from KOed to up with no pips. Even if we try to go out of the way to get her back up to full, I can't do much healing this round so your marty's blessing her now is pretty useless, especially since it could be used later to keep her alive long enough to get her healed.

I was watching The Nightmare Before Christmas this morning, so in honor of the occasion (and my taste in movies), I present to you this link:

And could you link up what dicerolls were done from each talent... cause I'm totally confused when I look at that post you did. Other then the fact that you got crits... Somehow... Three of them I think? And I got healed to 24 HP.

I was a bit confused by that, but I think it relates to the below combat trait.

King Of Fools
Once per round, whenever you roll a 1 on a d8, d10 or d12; you may activate one of your Special Moves at random.

^I think DB definitely needed to explain himself better in his last post. I was really confused at first too. That's part of the reason I waited until now to post.

BTW Xel, I think the extra damage on the Balrog came from Chitin's Vicious Hawkeye. Also, though I'm not sure where Chitin's third crit came from, her first came from her Blazing Blade attack (she rolled a 10 on a D10 there), and the second came from... Oh. Actually, it looks like DB rolled a 1 when he was healing Gleeda for 2D12 health (due to his first crit)... That activated King of Fools, which got DB a D12 crit result (after he rolled randomly to determine which crit KoF gave him)... and then... when he rolled the 3d8 for Resist on Whisper (with his D12 crit), he rolled another 8 on a D8 - so that... must have been... his. third. crit?

Whatever the case, I'm working on a new post, but I'm also swamped with more papers to grade too (that's another reason why I haven't posted yet). I'll try to get something out asap though.

Just so you know, I forgot to factor in Chitin's challenge with my last post. I edited the end turn damage totals accordingly. Nameless, Coffee, and his lantern all have a bit more HP than I'd originally noted.

Also, as far as Siphon Life goes, I remember giving the okay for the +1 damage from the armor to heal 1 extra point, but isn't it just a taaaaad bit ridiculous for things like the Bloodlust and Hawkeye to kick in too? I mean, that was just a +1 PiP move you used Xel, and if it worked out the way you were imagining, it would equate to a 44 pt damage swing. That seems waaaaaaaay too broken dude.

-Yeah, so I'd prefer if the armor was just a special case, and normally damage buffs didn't effect the amount of HP healed. You're already dealing a ton of damage anyway.

I just realized that the balrog is alos bloodied meaning Bloodlust (the trait) is in effect. Allowing me to roll a second time wiht my rolls.

Now I've fully edited my post to fix the mistakes I've done. And I added the factor that BALROG IS BLOODIED to his listing of effects.

Just a quick note, but it was brought to my attention that I missed a few things while posting up the end-turn results in my last IC post. I've updated my post accordingly, and the end-tun results should be correct now.

Is the Balrog spooked? You didn't specifically mention it or the Balrog making a save against it. Also, I forgot to update my pip totals. I should have 0 Pips at the moment.

^Actually Cardbo, I did mention your lantern, and I do have the -2 damage (save ends) in my notes. I'd just forgot what Spook was called at the time, and was too tired/lazy to look up it's name.

To make a short story shorter, the Balrog is still afflicted with Spook...
