Eh. Would've liked that 20 better as skill check. Also, none of Coffee's abilities are really dependent on going first.

I'm pretty sure you each make your own saves. That was just mine for my end of turn save.

Edit: Though if you guys want in the future when I use such abilities, I could do the rolling myself. It would certainly save time.

Edit 2: Nvm, that wouldn't work as the ability grants you guys a choice.

Hey guys,

For future posts, can I get you to just copy the current Combat Order and Combat Notes and edit your information into the chart? It'll save me a lot of time flipping back and forth between your posts every time I take my monster turns.

BTW - Here's the current combat notes as of Chitin's turn - before the Balrog's trait reaction. I believe all this is right - if not let me know.

Current Combat Order and Combat Notes:

Coffee Mug – 30 HP, 6 Temp HP, 3 Pips

Yellow Lantern – 10 HP, 1 Pip, Trait - Fear Engine (Midnight Haunting)
All enemies take a -1 penalty to saving throws; suffering 5 ongoing damage (save ends)

Gleeda – 28 HP, 5 Pips
Condition: 4 regeneration, Pred-Sight (+2d6 to Balrog), Bloodlust (+2d6 & Vul 4), BLINDED until the end of her next turn; suffering 5 ongoing damage (save ends)

Balrog T1 – weakened, vulnerability 5 (save ends: Roll Twice, Take Lower & -7 to this save); Challenged – Chitin’s allies have resist 3; 7 Ongoing Damage

Nameless – HP: 30, BLINDED until the end of his next turn; suffers vulnerability 3 to the Balrog’s attacks until the end of Nameless’ next turn too; suffering 5 ongoing damage (save ends)

Balrog T2 – weakened, vulnerability 5 (save ends: Roll Twice, Take Lower & -7 to this save); Challenged – Chitin’s allies have resist 3; 7 Ongoing Damage

Whisper – HP: 30, PiPs: 2, 3 Temp HP

Chitin – HP: 30, PiPs: 1, 3 Temp HP, Resist 2

*Also, I still need to make a post before we continue. Just be patient a while longer guys.

**On a final note, last night I made a couple pretty big mistakes. First off, I thought the attack order worked out something like this:

Damage Rolled + (Vuln-Res) = Damage Dealt

-Apparently I was mistaken, and the attack order works out like this:

Damage roll > bonuses/penalties > multiplication/division > resist > vuln > deal damage

So, first I thought that Nameless had dealt damage to the Balrog, then I found out that he hadn't - but by then it hadn't sunk in that Nameless had dealt no damage, and thus shouldn't have been able to use Lethal Injection... etc. etc. etc.

Nameless shouldn't have been able to use LI at all, but on the upside, he also shouldn't have taken any damage from the Balrog's lava trait.

With all that typed, we'll keep going, but I did want to make a note of my mistake here.

I was wondering about that.  Unless something happened which you haven't posted yet, Coffee should only have 24 HP and 6 Temp HP.  The lantern should only have 9HP.

For ease of reference, I thought I'd post this here in the OOC thread as well...

Alright guys, you're allies have officially joined the battle!

I'm going to try something new this time around, and instead of Rock, Roll, and Buck actually entering combat like normal PCs, they'll enter using a "Call System."

You can call on any of your allies to assist you whenever their trigger requirements are met - think of them as extra combat talents that anyone can use during a round. Each ally can be used only once per round and can only use one ability. Each ally also has one more powerful move that they can use - but if they use it, they need a round to recharge before they can be called on again to aid you in the fight.

Allies:
Hard Rock

Trigger 1 – Any time during your turn.
Rock plays a song to boost his friends’ spirits or heal their wounds. When you call on Rock, choose one of the following abilities to use:
1. Target ally regains 1d10+2 hp.
2. Target ally can roll twice on his or her next attack and take either result.

Trigger 2 – Any time during your turn.
Rock summons a spotlight on one ally and plays a guitar solo of epicness, causing enemies to consider that ally the greatest threat. Flip a coin for any number of target creatures. If you win the flip, that creature must attack target ally if able until the end of your next turn. After using this ability, Rock must take one round to recharge.

Barrel Roll

Trigger 1 – You initiate an attack.
Roll swoops in to back you up, dealing an extra 1d6 damage to your primary target or a secondary target of your choice. If she rolls an 6, she blinds the target she deals damage to, save ends.

Trigger 2 – You initiate an attack.
Roll swoops in to make a flashy combo attack with you. When you call on this ally during any attack, deal an extra 2d6 damage that ignores the opponent’s Resistance. After using this ability, Roll must take one round to recharge.

Buck Quicksilver

Trigger 1 – You initiate an attack.
Buck hurls a gout of fire in tandem with your attack, adding 3 Ongoing Damage, Save Ends, to an attack on your primary target or a secondary target of your choice. If Buck's target is already suffering from Ongoing Damage, increase that Ongoing Damage by 1.

Trigger 2 - An enemy damages you with an attack.
You can call on Buck to take the hit for you. Completely negate all adverse effects you would have suffered from the attack – including damage (though Buck only blocks one ally if he’s called in against an AoE attack). After using this ability, Buck must take one round to recharge.

Also, Cardbo, I don't think you remembered to take damage or roll for the Save-Ends on your Lantern. When I post my response later tonight, I'll roll it myself if you haven't done so by then.

^Good call Cardbo. Thanks for reminding me.

Also, keep in mind that the Blind effect that Coffee's suffering from actually is not a save ends effect. It will automatically end next round after Coffee's activation, but he can't save against it - therefore it doesn't proc his Regen item.

Um Carbo... Your Lenart got 9 temp from the heals that Whisper did... So it should be at 10 with 4 temp at the moment.
