Hum's in the Dark

Josotox smiles,, saying, "I'm Josotox, BL4-4, ah screw it, I'm calling you Black Beard."

Naomi looks at Jostox in confusion, not getting how he got Black Beard from that random string of letters and numbers. "I'm Naomi DeSang, enchanter." she replies, a little unsure of the robot-thing just tried to hit on her or if it was just programmed for misogyny. Not that she really minded the compliment.

Bl4K-B34RD tilts its head as if mimicking someone confused.  "Me logic unit can't quite follow you bucko. And it be a pleasure meetin' with you enchantress." The robot does a rather crude intimation of a bow toward each of them. It then waits for a second or two to pass before continuing. "Now when be this here vessel be setting sail?"

It's at this point the whole party hears someone humming a strange song, the source of it sounding very familiar to Josotox and Naomi.

Naomi just tries to ignore the humming, figuring if the damnable leg thief actually wanted something he could just use his words.

Josotox stops, and cocks his head a bit, then says quietly, "What are you humming?"
Stealth check to keep that quiet: 7. Dang, not my day.

"Oh, you too huh?" Noami whispers to the birdman.

Bl4K-B34RD leans in toward the other two and whispers. "Humming? Be there a Siren in this here parts? ."

Noami looks a little surprised at being overheard and replies, "Hmmm. That's probably about right really." Then she turns to Josotox and says, "That aside. I'm also wondering on our plans captain."

Josotox shakes his head, resolving to talk to the enchanter later, and says, "Plans? The only plan I have is to travel the galaxy, find loot, and glory!"

"I think he" Noami says "he" with a questioning tone, "meant the more immediate plans. Like when we were planning on leaving or if you're going to recruit others."

Jos nods, and says, "Ah. I didn't plan for so many crew members, but the more the merrier! I... suppose."

Naomi looks at the size of the ship and doesn't recall seeing anyone else with Josotox or on board or even any signs of other crew members. "How small a crew were you thinking of?"

]Jos smiles, slightly sheepishly, and says, "Eh, I didn't particularly think that one through. Well, I suppose we could look around here, see if anyone is interested in a position on the ship as, I don't know, janitor or something." Without waiting for an answer, he turns and looks for any people/ most people.

"I don't think you should advertise for janitorial positions." Noami says with honest mirth in her voice.

Jos nods, taking her completely seriously.

Bl4K-B34RD cuts into the conversation. "I don't be needing them but you two need a Grub maker and a healer. Unless one o' you two can handle the job."

Jos nods, and then says, "Oh, no worries for food and stuff, I'm an awesome cook. A healer though..."
Perception to look for peoples of interest: 11

Ah, nicknames. Always makes things easier. *Ahem* Jos looks around for willing crew members, but can only find two.

The first is an Aracne Biologist named Verasha. She has long blue hair and two normal arms, though the four spider limbs sprouting from her back shows what race she is. Her two red human-like eyes hide behind a pair of glasses, that you can guess is mostly for show, her two more insect-like eyes barely peeking up over the rim.  She's wearing a lab coat, which obviously has holes in it's back for her spider appendages. She seems pretty eager to join your ship, and seems to look forward to the various things that might happen.

The second is a Reptilian Medic named Garnesh. He's wearing some sort of ridiculous striped top-hat, but from the lack of hair protruding from under it you can guess he's rather bald. His yellow reptilian eyes seem to contrast with the blue scales covering his body, with the scales from his lower jaw to his lower torso being a paler blue. It's a bit hard to recognize any more facial features, as he's wearing a surgical mask that he doesn't seem willing to take off anytime soon. Overall he seems like a silly guy though, and mostly looks forward to joining because of the "Adventure" that your crew will have.

Jos welcomes both aboard with open arms, reminding himself to question them later.

"Cap'n may I be having leave to acquaint me self with the ship and perhaps gather some plunder? ." Almost assuming that Jos will agree Bl4K-B34RD heads into the young crew's ship and connects himself to the computer and from there connects to the stations network and attempts to transfer whatever funds he can get without being immediately noticed into a black-market account to be distributed evenly later...

Rolls:

The robot manages to hack into the system without being detected, but doesn't manage to find enough funds to make any real difference.

The robot responses with a few choice swears before taking what he can for the purposes of pocket change. Upon finishing he loiters upon the threshold of the ship's outer bay doors waiting for the crew.

Naomi floats over to the pair of new(er) crew members and introduces herself, then she says, "You two have some interesting accessories, any stories to go with them?"

"Well, trade a story for a story." Garnesh replies. "If you tell me your own story, then I'll reveal mine. It's only fair, isn't it?" Verasha almost says something, but simply nods at what Garnesh says.
