"Oh, I like that idea much better, I say we go with that. Any objections?" Col said to the rest of the group, assuming they'd come along.

"Nope. Should be fine."

On the way out of the crowd Measured Response walks up and greets Gear Craft and asks who his new friends are.

Gear Craft greets Measured Response back and says, "Oh, these are a few of the other hostages up on the tower with me. Say, Measured, do you mind if we use your place for a minute? We need to talk about some stuff. You're welcome to join."

"Gee thanks for welcoming me to my own house." he replies shaking his head. "Sure sure. I'm too curious to pass whatever this is up."

Golden turns towards Response. "Do you mind if you get sworn to secrecy or something?"

"Pretty sure I already have been but, sure." he replies.

"Great can you like lead the way then?"

Measured Response nods and leads the group to his apartment. The walk takes the better part of an hour but, the apartment complex is still rather nice as this is still fairly central Central. He leads the group inside, past the doorman, and they take the elevator up to the 22nd floor. His apartment is the second one to the right and its pretty big on the inside and almost disturbingly clean for a bachelor pad. That's not to say it's spartan. There are all several machines and machine parts sitting around in organized groups as well as various kinds of models and blueprints and there's even a workroom. Noting that everyone isn't going to fit on the coach he sends the group over to the dining table while he gets them some soda and gets some pretzels for them to snack on. Outside the windows there is a bit of a view but, it's mostly of other buildings.

Floe makes herself maybe a bit too much at home as she leans back on her chair and rests her feet on the table. "Alright then," she tells the friend of the host, "What you want to talk about?"

" Well after what happened up on the tower well thing like started to emerge and I think that it happened to everyone that was there at least... why am I beating around the bush? Its better if I just show you." With that Golden jumps up over the table and just hovers there. A moment of concentration later she bursts into flame.

Col stares for a moment, though not in too much shock. "...So I wasn't the only one, guess it's no use hiding it anymore." He said, a layer of rock starting to form over his coat. "I knew it was improbable that I was an isolated case."

Coral Wrench suddenly appears in the middle of the group, seeming to have been forgotten about an hour or so ago, so she decided to follow, invisible. Her friends, Silly and Silver, also followed, assuming that she would follow this group. "It's more difficult than it looks, though that might be because I'm so tired..." She falls over onto a couch, instantly asleep, not without face-hoofs from her friends.

"Well, now I feel significantly less fancy. But yes, I got something of a boost as well."

The plant pony declares this amidst what looks at first like a dismissive shrug but quickly turns into her forelimb reaching far across the room.

"Also it seems I can grow fast, producing fruit. We can discuss more over a meal. Would you like to taste my body?"

"Uh... I think I'll pass." Col said, now being sufficiently creeped out.

Coral wakes up at the mention of food, not hearing the context.

Gear Craft feels a bit nauseated, but says, in shock, "...Huh. Well, I should have seen this coming." He reaches out with his mind, feeling for any nearby tech, while prepping his suit. He then says, "Oh, yeah, Measured should be back in a second. Wait... do we all have powers?"

Col shrugs. "I'd think it depends on who you mean by "all". If you mean all of us in the room, I'd say the only one who doesn't is Measured from what I've seen. If you mean all of us who were hostages..." He pauses for a bit, pondering and then shaking his head. "I have no idea."

"Hmmm..." Coral takes a big bite from a random fruit on the table. "Might you happen to have something I can draw with and on, preferably with colors?"

Measured shrugs and goes to fetch some paper and small number of colored pencils (yellow, red, white, orange, green, and blue) and two pens, one red the other black, along with a regular pencil. "This is all I have. I don't tend to need much more. In fact, I almost never need this much."

After about ten minutes of furious sketching, leaving all the pencils in serious need of sharpening, Coral slams the now colorful pieces of paper on the table. Any attempt to get her attention before now would have resulted in either no response, or pain.

Col looks at the drawings. "Wait... are these... designs for costumes?" He says with a bit of excitement. "These are pretty cool! Though I think I'd adjust my costume's colors a bit... Maybe a dark blue instead of brown..." He remarks, ending up examining the drawing of what's labeled Gargoyle and mumbling to himself.

Floe rocks on her chair back and forth in a lazy manner as she watches the others inspect the drawings. On the floor underneath the dragonnel her shadow gives a yawn and a stretch...
