Fiasco: the Game

When she hears the bell at the door give its little chime, Olive Leaf prepares another batch of dough and begins rolling it flat with flour. After a small while, she leaves the kitchen and heads to the table where a new customer sat. She knew that table was commonly used by Ivy, but he wasn't here at the moment, so it was fine. She moves to the foal with her head buried in the menu and greets her with (admittedly slightly unenthusiastic) "Welcome to Hot Toppings, the hottest pizzeria in town. May I take your order?"

"No, it's mine." Overcast replies with a straight face.

Olive looks up with a loss for words. A montage of minor facial expressions pass across her face and she thinks about the filly's response. Eventually she returns to her blank neutral expression. "Okay. Now, is there anything I can get you?"

Overcast grins at having gotten at least some kind of response and says, "I'll just have whatever the chef's special is today." referring to something that may or may not even be on the menu she hadn't finished reading.

"Uh..... a cola with grenadine if you have it? And maybe one of those little cherries?" Overcast says, again, just sorta blindly guessing at what the options are and hoping whatever comes out of her mouth is actually available.

Olive looks at the filly and replies "I'm sorry, I don't think I have... any... of..."

"How about.... hard cider?" Outcasts asks, not expecting that to fly, really just buying her time to actually look at the beverages on the menu.

Olive doesn't respond. She just stares on, before rubbing her eyes to make sure what she is seeing is real...

Overcast looks up from the menu, ignoring the face Olive is making and says, "Ok how about a chocolate milkshake?"

Olive snaps out of it. "Wha- sure, chocolate milkshake, anything for you. If you still would rather have cola with grenadine, I could get it for you."

"Oh. Um. Nah. Milkshake is good. Yeah. Thanks!" Overcast replies with a smile.

"Right then." Olive tries to return to her usual disposition, but can't focus fully while looking at the filly. "Chocolate milkshake, chef's special. Anything else dear?"

Overcast shakes her head, "No that's about all my allowance can cover, thanks."

Overcast's eyes go wide with surprise and delight and she replies, "Oh! Um... well... geee thanks. Uh... then I'll have... um... Oh! Surprise me!"

Olive gives a smile and returns to the kitchen, glancing back at the filly for brief moments as she does...

When she returns, she presents the filly with a large pizza (with a lot of different toppings, including cheese, pineapple, olives, mushrooms, onion, .etc), a large frothy chocolate milkshake with straw, umbrella, sparkler and cherry, fresh garlic bread, a caesar salad, and a bowl of potatoes that have been cut up (not thinly) and deep fried in sunflower oil. Olive stands at the table for a while, slightly out of breathe from running around to pick up things she doesn't usually serve, and a bit of dough on her face. At last, she lets out an "Enjoy."

Overcast's eyes go wide at the sudden feast. She just stares at it in awe for a moment then rubs her eyes to make sure she's not dreaming. She looks to Olive Leaf and opens her mouth to say something, but no words come out. Her expression is a mix between delight and surprise and her eyes sparkle with adoration for she who caused this glorious occurrence to be manifest. After a few more tries to express her feelings she gives up and chows down.

Olive silently watches Overcast enjoy the meal...

Defining this scene to have a White die

Ok yeah, don't... color it like that.... that'll get annoying real quick.

Ok so I will give the white die to Paper for doing so much of the work for this scene and for being the only person around for most of the other games to talk to me.

So that's 1 white die for Paper, 7 white dice and 8 black dice left. Reminder: When we move on to the next part when we've used half the dice.

Ok so Paper, got anything left you want to do with this scene or do we cut it here and let Copper choose to establish or resolve her next scene?

After finishing all her food (somehow), Overcast exclaims, "Wow this is the best place ever!"
